MELODRAMA Boutique, Houston’s premier high fashion women’s clothing and accessories boutique; “Fashion, Community, and Empowerment” is the stores creed, hosted its 15THAnniversary Celebration on December 13th. Hodges Communications Group, LLC (HCG) was initially contracted to assist with event planning and logistics. Twelve Days of Christmas, the initial community partner, and nonparticipation had a direct impact on the planning and implementation of the event. MELODRAMA Boutique 15th anniversary event was a beautiful celebration, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting The Houston Area Women’s Center. Over 300 guests attended the celebration. The VIP reception kicked off at 6:00pm in the beautiful foyer of Houston’s historic Ensemble Theatre, located in the heart of Uptown. Entertainment was provided by Jazz Saxophonist, Theresa Grayson. Guests marveled at the décor and window models. Theresa Grayson, gave a Pied Piper performance as she led VIP guests into the main stage for the Signature Fashion Show.
The entertainment continued with performances by national recording artist, Tamar Davis. MELODRAMA owner, Jackie Adams, paid tribute to community leaders who’ve had an impact on her life and business for over 15 years. The event ended with the “Runway Experience!” hosted by DJ Carmen Contreras of 93.7 The Beat. “Who’s Who” in Houston and surrounding areas gathered in support of two wonderful organizations, The Houston Area Women’s Center and MELODRAMA Boutique. This celebration was the most exciting charitable event of the holiday season!
